Tomorrow I’m off to Copenhagen (and later this week Malmö)! Hooray! So to already get you in the mood for all the Copenhagen spam I will be sharing with you guys on Instagram I would like to introduce you to YD Nodic, a lovely Scandinavian concept store in the heart of Ghent that I discovered two weeks ago.
I really have this thing for Scandinavian interiors so I was very eager to check this store out. And guess what… I want it all! At YD Nordic you can find everything you need to create a ‘hygge state of mind home’ going from comfortable furniture to pastel perfect decorations and the most beautiful plates and other kitchen utensils. HAY, Skagerak and MUUTO are only some of the brands you can shop there.
Besides the beautiful interior inspiration you can also go to YD Nordic for lunch or a fika moment, aka the wonderful Swedish tradition of having a coffee and cake break with friends, sounds great right?
On the menu you will find different kinds of lunch formulas. We chose the Suppe + Smørrebrød one, which includes a freshly made bowl of soup with smørrebrød (you can choose between ham, salmon, Danablu or herring) and a side dish (salad or quinoa). YUMMY! There is also the Smørrebrød + Fika option which is more less the same but instead of the soup you get the famous Kannelbullar and a coffee. Next time I will definitely be trying that one!
